2nd Best Day of the Year
Okay, truth be told, today is one of the second best days of the year. The holiday cups have arrived at Starbucks! I sleepily walked in our store and thought I was still dreaming. Silver Christmas trees, glistening frosted treats, frothy steaming cups of coffee and peppermint twisted decorations everywhere. It was a wonderland. I recommend a Grande, one shot peppermint mocha. It just soothes the soul in this 93 degree record breaking heat. People are stunned at my simple happiness over something so small. For me, the coffee in a red cup, paves the road to the best day of the year, December 25. The birthday of our Lord and Savior. Amen.
