It rained……giftcards
We have been waiting for some precipitation here in hot Arizona. Finally we got a little, last week. One day it rained during the night and for the entire day it actually looked like fall outside. It rained inside Safeway that same day.
My son went to get some gum and I was approaching the check out lines, looking for him so I could pay for it. I heard the most horrendous crash behind me. One of those times where you just know someone is hurt real bad. I looked behind me and saw my son on the ground with a couple thousand gift cards surrounding him. You see, my six foot son spotted me and started running. What he didn’t see however, was the recently fully stocked 5’4 gift card holder and ran head on into it.
It took five of us, ten minutes to pick up all those gift cards. Nothing was hurt, not even my son’s pride. He laughed with everyone and was entirely charming. I have heard however, that there is a poster with his face on it and a red line drawn through it, at the entrance of the store.
What to do about all the Thanksgiving shopping I have to do? Maybe one turkey was enough this year!
"Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Phil. 4:5-6
Praying you’ll be blessed in every good way,
Audra
Way to go Keegan!
