Metaphors Be With You
Do you get that? Maybe you need to say it out loud! I am at an incredible Christian writer’s conference and these are truly the punniest people I have ever been around. When you get 400 people together who love words, the puns abound.
Professionally, this has been the best experience of my life. I have had lunch and dinner with well known Christian authors, taken great classes and met one on one with many magazine editors and book publishers. God has promised good things are in store. He has called me and equipped me to reach His people with writing.
An author was speaking yesterday and said that yes, he was lucky, but he put himself in places to be lucky. I believe that we have to put ourselves in places to be blessed by God, it isn’t about luck. The key though, is realizing that I have to show up, have to do what he has asked me to do. Then and only then, will I be blessed.
