The Game of Life
This is what the game looked like when I was growing up. They of course, have had several new editions since then, and have had the nerve to change some of the rules!
Here is the new version. I think I prefer the simpler, less cartoon version of life.
We were playing the game with our boys the other day and an interesting thing happened. In the new game, you draw a "life" card at certain times and it is worth different amounts of money.
I landed on a space and chose the card. I laughed out loud when I read it; "Climb Mount Everest – $50,000." That’s all they were going to give me to face one of my worst fears? Uhmm, no.
It got me thinking. Is there an amount of money that would make you fully walk through your worst fears, or are they like their counterpart, in that the best things in life are priceless?
Love and blessings,
Audra
My FAVORITE game when I was a kid.
