WCW – Party For A Cause

New Artists Party For A Cause In Vegas
March 27, 2008Country

By Ken Tucker, Nashville

Sarah Buxton, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Jack Ingram, Jake Owen, Carolina Rain and Lady Antebellum will perform at the second annual Academy of Country Music Charitable Fund "New Artists’ Party for a Cause," which will be held May 17 at the MGM Grand Marquee Ballroom in Las Vegas.

The acts are all nominated in the new artist categories for the 43rd Annual ACM Awards, which will be held the next night at the MGM Grand Arena and broadcast on CBS.

All proceeds from the new artist show will benefit the ACM’s Charitable Fund. Tickets are available to the public for $50.00 and may be purchased through the MGM Grand Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets.

I love this party!  As you read above, all of my money goes to charity and I get to see incredible artists when Las Vegas goes country for one weekend!

  1. My favorite thus far is The Chocolate Project created by Brock & Auny Gill. They are chocolate lovers who turned a chocolate tasting party into a fundraiser and are going nationwide. (but you already know that) They are still working on the website but check out Brock’s Facebook page for more info.

Thanks for the updated information on Chocolate tasting parties Amy!

  3. Thanks for the comment. I’m not much of a “blog networker” or anything, but I’m glad you where “not quite inspired”.
Favorite party with cause: The Ban Child-Hating Clowns Brunch hosted by Brian Littrel
