Gilt I don’t need
There is a an online sample sale site that offers top designers like Dolce and Gabbana at half off, sometimes more. I got all excited thinking it would be perfect for today’s post, but then realized it is an invitation-only online "group." You must be invited by another member to partake in the half off goods. I don’t know another member.
What I think is hilarious, is the site is called Gilt. Do any of us really need anymore guilt in our lives? I’ll bet if the samples were more than half off, I still wouldn’t be able to afford them. It’s all gilt that I don’t need, and less guilt, works for me!
In the meantime, I have a free place where all are welcome and you don’t have to be recommended by anyone else. Leave your blog name in my comment section and let’s exchange a little guilt free link love.
Would that work for you?
This post is part of Works for Me Wednesday. Head on over (guilt free!) to Rocks in my Dryer to see what’s workin for everybody else.
You are too funny! I love the play on words.
A few years ago, I accompanied my husband on a business trip to Chicago. I’d never been to a Neiman-Marcus store. Being a ‘sorta frugal’ person, I headed right to the clearance rack…
…then headed right out of the store when the first thing I picked out was $600–on sale!!!
Well, at least the store wasn’t ‘by invitation only,’ LOL!
Hi, again! Thanks for visiting and the sweet comment about my little clown. She’s a lot bigger now–23 years old!
