Teen Driving Me To Drink
Well get ready for a shocker ya’ll, but my teen is what, or rather who, is working for me this week.
It all began Monday night when he made dinner for everyone, Chicken Panini’s, Curly Fries and a green salad. It was delicious and I loved that I didn’t have to cook.
Then today he passed his driver’s permit test. When we got close to our house, I let him drive and it went great. I was very relaxed, it was like he had been driving for years.
So now he will drive me to drink.
Starbucks that is….what did you think I meant?
Head over to Shannon’s place and see what’s working for everyone else.
Huge Smiles! I so get this….such a transitional phase.
I need to hit Courtney up for some dinner.
And then maybe let her take me for a drive to Starbucks!
too cute! I love the post.
So cute. I bet it goes quickly and then they are driving. To Starbucks! Can I join y’all!?!
very cute 🙂 I have 4 between 13 and 19, I drink big cappucinos
blessings, Penny Raine
This cracked me up! Great headline. But you didn’t tell us what kind of Starbucks you ordered.
Cute post. Hmm… I’m interested in how he made the chicken paninis?
Glad you’re enjoying your teen driving. So far 2 out of my 3 are driving. Do I enjoy having my teen chauffer me? Not so much …
What a great post! Found you via Rocks In My Dryer. Glad I did!
i ❤ starbuck's white chocolate peppermint mochas! (thankfully Christmas is almost here)
My daughter has been harassing me about her drivers ed…ugh! Does it get better? 🙂
Woohoo on your teen working for you! It is a blessing to have children that help out! Thank you for sharing! 😀
Funny! It’ll still be a few years before I have my own personal drivers.

@Jerri – He made the panini’s w/french bread, chicken, mayo and cheese on our George Foreman Grill.
Yes, anyone that wants to should join us on a future trip to Starbucks. My son drinks the peppermint mochas and I currently drink iced chai lattes, since it’s still 95 degrees here!
@mark S. No my friend, it doesn’t get any easier, now that he’s driving he’s practically married..it all goes too fast.
Ha! you’re funny 🙂 My preteen doesn’t drive, but with her preteen angst she might drive me to hit the sauce 🙂
So not looking forward to those days, as my two are very young. However, the drive to Starbucks sounds nice.
What a wonderful post. Dinner and congratulation to him on passing the test.
I feel for you. My daughter just got her license. I pray every time is goes out driving. I would join you in a drink at Starbucks but my would have to be something without caffeine. I am caffeine sensitive.
