Radio Interview and Update

Participant_120x90_mug  I've turned the corner, heading for the home stretch. I'm now working ahead and have over 42,000 words.

The link to my radio interview with Dr. Rus has been posted and you can listen HERE.

I can't thank you all enough for the support I've received these past three weeks. It's so great to know people are cheering for you, it's very inspiring.

  6. Hi, again, Audra! Actually, I’m a published author. I haven’t sold anything in a few years, but my last books were a series for middle-grade readers under the general title “Journey to America.” I wrote three books, and they did pretty well–they ended up in a lot of libraries.
Unfortunately, the market for historical books for kids has dried up (remember the “Dear America” series that was everywhere?), so I haven’t published since. Health problems and some general discouragement (my agent retired, I didn’t like my new agent, and the market is soooo hard now) has kept me from doing as much writing as I’d like. However, I decided about a year ago to write because I love to write…not aiming towards a published work. I’m writing a mystery and am happy to say I have almost 8 chapters done! That’s including multiple drafts of each chapter. So, there is always hope for the future, LOL!
