Stay Home on Black Friday
I'll be out of town on Black Friday this year, so any money I would save would be made up in shipping costs. Why do I want to fight the crowds anyway? I'll be much more comfortable, warm and happy, shopping from my PC.
If you don't want to fight the crowds either, shop these great deals, which are happening now, through Friday!
I am at 42,000ish words for NaNoWriMo, only 8000 more to go.
"And I can see a light, that is coming, for the heart that holds on, a glorious light beyond all compare." – Matt Redman
I'm pressing on for the prize. Not just to make the journey, but to win.
Head over to Shannon's at Rocks in My Dryer to see what's up with everyone else!
I have never gone out on a black Friday before, but I am kind of thinking of going to Kohls this time because they are selling nice GPS for $79. What do you think? : ).

I’m *considering* going to Kohl’s as well, because it and Walmart are the only two stores in the little town I’ll be in.
However, I’ve already done most of my shopping, and a good portion of it’s been online. It makes me so happy when the doorbell rings and it’s the UPS man dropping off my packages!

If I were going out, I would go to Kohl’s for sure. They are said to have da bomb diggity deals of them all this year. I went two Fridays ago, and saved hundreds of dollars. Black Friday will be even better. Have fun ladies!

Almost 50,000 words!Good for you!!!!
Black Friday. I was nuts enough to go to NYC on the day after Thanksgiving many years ago, with my daughter.
Do you have any idea how long the line out of FAO Schwartz (the world’s most famous toy store) was?
Can you guess we didn’t go near the place?
I’m going to check out the on-line deals. As far as brick-and-mortar, I might hit CVS or Walgreen’s or Rite-Aid. There are so many of each around here no one store is going to be overcrowded, and they’re close enough. Walgreen’s has an 8-pack of batteries for $2–worth the trip even if I get nothing else!

I saw your comment on my blog about the baby oil. What I do is use another cotton pad and wet it with water to take off the oil after I use the oil. 😉 I hope that helps!!

I tried NaNoWriMo once and got to 1850 words before life completely interrupted my plans. I applaud you aiming, and most likely reaching that goal!
