  1. When Derrick and I celebrated our 15th anniversary in ’02, we went to Hawaii and he had read Wild at Heart. It touched him so much that I read it on that trip to see why it had effected him so. It made our trip so memorable. It really helped me understand my man, men, more! He also read Letters to My Sons by Teddy Roosevelt on that trip. That made a huge impact on him as a father too. I would love to see him in May, will surely try!

  2. @Susan
I love this story. Thank you for sharing. The Teddy Roosevelt book sounds great too, I have never heard of it. I think it is very important for all women to read Wild at Heart, but not just for their men, for themselves.

  3. This really sounds great! Do you have more information on this event? Maybe something I could do for a birthday gift!

  4. Hi Wendy-
What a great idea, an awesome gift! Just click on the Fathered by God banners for more information. Do let me know if you end up going!

  5. This is something to think about.
